Modelling agents

Are in the business of beauty and fashion?

  • Straight on beauty headshot (front page)
  • Semi profile headshot
  • Straight on smile headshot (for back page)
  • ¾ body shot (head to waist)
  • Full length fashion shot
  • Full length body shot
  • Swimwear shot (if you wish to do swimwear or lingerie modelling)
  • High fashion change
  • Casual editorial change
  • Hair and make up for AM and PM look

Advertising agents

Are in the business of people and products

Anyone wanting to enter into advertising modelling requires a similar portfolio with a slightly different focus – natural beauty! Keep in mind that advertisers require models that the consumer can relate to. Therefore, it’s not about perfect beauty, but rather being naturally approachable with a believable personality that projects from the image or screen. With this in mind the range of images in your portfolio is similar to models with one big difference. You photos are not so beauty/fashion oriented but have a more natural focus on the real person and their personality and less fashion, hair and makeup detail.

  • Straight on character headshot (front page)
  • Semi profile headshot
  • Straight on smile headshot (for back page)
  • ¾ body shot (head to waist)
  • Full length movement shot
  • Full length body shot
  • Swimwear shot (if you wish to portray athletic or Promo ability)
  • Smart evening change
  • Casual editorial change
  • Natural hair and make up
  • Outdoor hobby shot eg: horse riding
  • Video test real (if required)

Music agents and group shots

A&R, publishing companies, booking agents and music press all require professional images to sell your image and story. Your images need to stand out from the crowd to be noticed. Both video and photographic images are an essential part of any publicity kits for up and coming musicians.

Every press kit should include individual ¾ shots, head and shoulders shots and of course a group shot.
